Battle Mage Severance

Another of my original characters; Severance.

I never got around to doing her character sheet for my personal reference, during the past year I've been tweaking and finalising new designs for my characters so I thought I'd wait.
Bit of a short description for her;

"Severance has a keen and powerful understanding of magic, Severance is good hearted and often selfless.
Born into a wealthy family during a time of war she led a sheltered childhood. Learning many things about the world through books and stories. Her further curiosity into such matters ended up with her stumbling upon ways of learning and using magic.
Further into her life the war her family was involved in came to her doorstep, while they attempted to capture her, she managed to escape using what little she knew about magic.
Fleeing to a town where the war had not touched she set out to learn more and practice what she knew, only to find out her knowledge and ability was frowned upon everywhere she went.
Eventually finding someone who knew about the dark arts and her family, she was taken in and trained."

I'm not really a fantastic writer, or good at explaining things but that's the best you'll get

I took screenshots of the various stages of this picture and I'm going to animate it at some point! Trying something new and all that!

Done in Photoshop CS6 in about 3 hours.
